In a typescript tribute to Marilyn, Arthur wrote that she made things grow by the magic of her personality. He also wrote that she would invite six or eight friends over on the spur of the moment and make an impressive meal for them. In an interview, Arthur stated that she made the best leg of lamb he had ever tasted. Marilyn added: “And you like my chicken with wine sauce.”
